Application: Suitable for internal and external situations including basements, industrial floors, forecourts, car parks and sewerage treatment works where a durable solid top access cover and frame is required.
Construction: Covers fabricated from quality durbar pattern steel plate suitably underbraced to suit load rating. Frame construction from heavy cold rolled steel implementing single or double sealing grooves. Multiple units (see 9150 and 9150M Series) come complete with removable support beams. Supplied single seal as standard.
Finish: Hot dipped galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 as standard.

- FACTAAn organisation that provides specifications and standards for fabricated access covers, allowing for flexibility in design and load-bearing capabilities. We are an associated member of the organisation. Class AA - Light Duty - GLVWGross Laden Vehicle Weight (GLVW) is the total weight of a vehicle when fully loaded. It is used as a simple way to indicate the type and size of vehicle traffic a cover is intended to withstand. Not Applicable / SMWLSlow Moving Wheel Load (SMWL) is the load applied by a single wheel moving slowly over the cover. It reflects the concentrated load transferred directly onto the cover surface at the point of wheel contact. 1.5 Tonnes.
- FACTA Class AAA - Medium Duty - GLVW 10 Tonnes / SMWL 2.5 Tonnes.
- FACTA Class B - Heavy Duty - GLVW 25 Tonnes / SMWL 5 Tonnes. Full loading achieved infilled with Grade C25 concrete.
- FACTA Class FL - Special - Suitable for use in abnormal load or forklift areas and equivalent to 50 Tonne GLVW. Units tested to 5 Tonnes through a 150mm dia. test block. Also capable of taking a 11.5 Tonne SMWL via a 250mm dia. test block.
